How We Can Help

The staff at Roane Medical Sleep Center understands patients value personalized care. Our registered and licensed sleep specialists will determine the appropriate treatment plan based on your test results about your specific sleep disorder. Treatment options may include behavior modification, dental devices, a nasal mask or surgery depending on the severity of your sleep disorder.

Behavior Modifications

Mild sleep disorders may be treated with behavior modifications including weight loss, development of better sleep habits, and avoiding alcohol, caffeine and sleep medications.

Dental Devices

Other mild sleep disorders may only require a dental device that will keep the airway open by holding the tongue or jaw forward.

Nasal Mask

Mild to severe sleep apnea is usually treated with a nasal mask called CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure). The CPAP forces positive air pressure through the nose and mouth during sleep.
