Give Now

Roane Medical Center meets the needs of thousands of patients and their families each year. As the hospital continues to serve our community, there are many opportunities for you to further strengthen our programs and services, and contribute to our success.

The One Community. One Hospital. Campaign for the new Roane Medical Center established an important foundation of community support for our new hospital. Through the contributions of employees, community citizens, businesses and civic organizations, the new hospital now has several important features and services that might not have otherwise been available.

Your opportunity to support Roane Medical Center continues now that the doors of our new facility are open. Contributions may be made unrestricted to support the greatest needs at the hospital, or restricted to support one of these important programs:

  • Pastoral Care – Our on-call volunteer chaplaincy program seeks support for ongoing education for our chaplains and all area clergy to ensure spiritual care is provided to all who need it during their hospital stay.
  • Serenity Garden – Families and patients seeking spiritual and emotional healing have access to our lovely chapel just off the hospital lobby, as well as a dedicated outdoor serenity garden to find sanctuary during their stay. The garden features engraved pavers in two sizes that can be used to pay tribute to friends and loved ones. A contribution of $250 receives a square paver, and a $500 contribution receives a larger rectangular paver.
  • Cardiac Care – We seek support for state-of-the-art equipment and program development for our thriving cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program, which serves hundreds of outpatients each week.

All gifts to Roane qualify as charitable deductions for tax purposes.

Memorials & Honorariums

Contributions made in memory, or in honor, of a loved one are opportunities for patients, families, and friends to pay tribute to a special person and help others in need at the same time. These gifts are an excellent way to honor hospital staff and physicians who have provided you outstanding service. Other events that may call for special recognition include the birth of a baby, birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations. A contribution to Roane in honor of the special person is a wonderful way to show your care for them.

Families may request that friends make a contribution to the hospital in lieu of flowers at the time of a loved one’s death. This information can be added to the obituary notice in local papers, and is a truly meaningful way to memorialize a loved one and ensure the future of high quality health care in East Tennessee.
