Congratulations to Roane Medical Center’s Case Manager, Shelia Staggs, BSN, RN, CCM, for recently earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree! Shelia has worked at Roane Medical Center for over 25 years and has touched many patients’ lives and departments during her time of employment here.
A BSN is registered nurse that is defined by their higher education status. To receive a bachelor’s degree of science in nursing, an individual must either have completed their associate’s degree in nursing or have committed to the four-year program to graduate with the BSN degree from their undergraduate curriculum. This individual must also pass the requirements for all registered nurses which includes passing the state board exam (NCLEX-RN) and complete their licensing requirements set in place by the state they work in.
Shelia is known for always puts her patients first and is striving for excellence in all that she does. We are incredibly proud of Shelia’s hard work to receive this degree and her passion for case management!
